Car Insurance Question  Are there any problems with me providing a car that is in my name and insured in my name for a friend that will be using it continiously? The whole reason is to save money. Thanks!!

If your friend is going to continuously use your vehicle you will need to let your insurance company know about the arraignment. It is likely they will request you to add her on as a driver. Your friend will need their own insurance anyway since most all states require the driver to be insured.

Since your friend is not the owner of the vehicle it might be difficult to find insurance since he or she does not have an insurable interest in the vehicle. Your friend might look into getting a non-owners policy, though that usually is only liability coverage. There is another type of coverage that our online affiliate, Esurance, allows for in some states. Their coverage allows for someone to insure their friend's car for comprehensive and collision.

Your friend can get quoted for either type of coverage of auto insurance online here with us.
