Recently an insurance company notified me that my car was totaled after a minor car accident. The car is drivable and the only part damage were the lower parts of the passenger doors. It doesnt even look that bad but still they said it was totaled. Is there a way to over turn this, I mean my car looks pretty good and the engine works perfect, it was minor damage.

You can continue to work with the insurance company involved if you are unhappy with their settlement offer of "totaling" your vehicle. Depending on your state laws you may be able to take your car back and get the damage repaired yourself. If this is the case, make sure the car is not given a salvage title or it might not be legal to drive on the streets. Also a salvage titled vehicle can be difficult to insure.

Beyond working with the claims adjuster you can get legal advice. To find out your consumer rights you can contact the insurance regulator for your state.
