Car Insurance Question  I was wondering if you live in Georgia now, but you would like to move to New Jersey, how would you go about changing your car insurance and would the price increase or what would happen?

When changing insurance polices it is best to buy your new insurance policy before canceling your old one so that you do not have a lapse in coverage. When moving it is a great time to do comparison shopping, which we can help you with now getting a New Jersey auto insurance quote.

That being said insurance in NJ has been said to be costly due to number of claims filed annually in that state. But to get an accurate quote it will depend on your personal information and where in NJ you would plan on living.

For NJ car insurance, you must purchase insurance through a company that is authorized to do business in that state. The 3 types of mandatory insurance in NJ are: Liability insurance, Personal Injury Protection (PIP), Uninsured Motorist.
