Car Insurance Question  My 14 year old son took my car "unauthorized use of a motor vehicle." The car is totaled. Will my insurance cover the damage?

It is doubtful that your insurance company will cover the damage to your vehicle since your son was not authorized to drive it and most likely does not have a license at age 14. One of the first questions your insurance will likely ask is if your son had permission to drive the car, which he did not. You should still report this incident to your insurance company though and your agent might have some helpful advice for you.

Our Learning Center has News Headlines and Articles that can very helpful to those with auto insurance needs.
