Car Insurance Question  My car was broken into, by breaking the passenger side window. Is this going to make my insurance go up?

Your passenger side window damage should be covered under the comprehensive portion of your insurance policy so you will have to pay the deductible to get it repaired. Typically this type of act of vandalism is not considered you fault so many insurance companies will not raise your rates.

Insurance companies can vary on how they set their rate rules though so you can check with your insurance agent to find out about your specific insurance company. Insurance carriers must file their rates with the state's insurance regulatory body so you could also check with them to see them concerning your company's rating system.
