I am in an internship for 6 months in the US and dont have a Social Security Card yet. Do I need it in order to get insurance?

You will not need your social security card to get insurance, but you may need it to get your drivers license.

Most companies require you to have your license to get insurance, but you will find some that allow you 30 days to get an active license.
