It is rare to find an insurance company that will insure a vehicle that is not titled or registered in your name. Esurance is one company that we have that makes that available in Florida, but they are not available in Kentucky. It is sometime regulated by the state and other times by individual insurance companies if the state has no law or precedence. Most insurers want an insurable interest.

I recommend contacting the Kentucky Department of Insurance or a local agent to see if they have a company that will insure a vehicle not titled in your name.
