Car Insurance Question  I live in Florida. I am married and I would like to keep separate insurance policies on my car. Is it possible to be married and keep my own policy?

You will need to discuss your married status with your insurance company. It might be possible to have separate policies but in most cases it would be cheaper if you and your spouse would combine your policies and have just one.

Insurance companies generally require all licensed household members be listed on a policy so even with separate policies it is likely both insurance companies involved would require you each to list each other on the policies. If you do decide to a new insurance policy for the both of you together you can get an Florida online automobile insurance quote here.
