My NC license plate is revoked and I need to know where to send it?

According to the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) you need to surrender your license plates to the nearest Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) agency. You can go to www.ncdot.org/dmv to look up the location closest to your. If you are unable to find one nearby you can call NC DMV's customer service office at 919-715-7000.

If you have a valid license and get your license tags returned you can find North Carolina car insurance online.

Car Insurance Related I had a lapse of auto insurance in NC and I never turned in plates. I did not get the coverage reinstated with the same auto insurance company, I had a period with no insurance.
