New York and New Jersey are both members of the Driver's License Compact (DLC) which allows their department of motor vehicles to exchange information. Thus your violations and suspension you received in New York will be reported to New Jersey, where you are licensed. New Jersey typically only assigns 2 points for out of state traffic violations such as the tickets you received in New York. Now as for suspension, the DLC asserts when a state suspends the license of a driver who is from out-of-state, the state where the motorist received their license to drive will also suspend their license. If New Jersey follows this guideline from the DLC, then your NJ license would be suspended and if your home state suspends your license then it typically means your license is suspended in other states as well. To know for certain if your license is suspended in NJ you can contact the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission.
