Car Insurance Question  I have a suspended license due to a accident when I was a juvenile, but have a permit to drive to and from work and college. Is it still possible to finance a car and get insurance?

It sounds like your full license is suspended but you have a restricted or conditional driving privilege permit. If this is the case there are insurance companies that will insure your vehicle. Because of the type of license or permit that you hold insurance will likely be more expense then if you held a full valid license. So once you are able to obtain a full license again, make sure to let your insurance company know.

As for financing a new vehicle with a restricted license, you will have to check with financial institutions in your area to see if this permit would be a problem in obtaining a loan. Typically, there are banks or other lien holders that are willing to help someone in your position finance a car.
