Car Insurance Question  What is the definition for Good Drivers Plan?

The Good Driver Plan is a rating program offered by some insurance companies. This plan reduces your premium if you have had no accidents or traffic violations within a specified time period.

There is also a plan termed the Safe Driver Plan. This plan has a rating system that assigns points for traffic convictions and certain accidents. Similar to a merit-rating plan, each point increases the surcharge percentage to the baseline rates. Thus the Safe Driver Plan rewards drivers for being safe and without violation convictions or accidents while penalizing those with a poor driving record.
