You did not mention if you were licensed in South Carolina or in the state in which you reside. If you are licensed in South Carolina and the DMV there has suspended your driving privileges than typically your license is suspended nationwide until your license is again reinstated and valid. If you are not licensed in SC your license could still be suspended depending upon if your home state has a reciprocal agreement with South Carolina. The most well known agreement like this is the Drivers License Compact (DLC). South Carolina and 45 other states are part of the DLC. Part of this Compact is that if a state suspends the license of a driver who is from out of state, the state where the motorist received a license to drive will also suspend the motorist's license. If your state is part of the DLC or has similar agreement with South Carolina, than it is likely that your license is suspended in your state of residence (and thus likely suspended nationwide). You might receive a notice from the Department of Motor Vehicles saying this or you may need to check with the DMV to see the status of your license.
