According to the information we were able to gather, all provinces in Canada have a reciprocal agreement with Ontario regarding moving violations. According to the Michigan Driver Services division of the Department of State, if you get a ticket in another state it will likely eventually appear on your Michigan driving record and points will be assessed as required by the Michigan Vehicle Code. So it would also be likely that the Ontario ticket would also show up on your MI motor vehicle record.

The points system in Michigan assigns you 2 points for a speeding ticket 10 mph or less over the limit, 3 points for 11 to 15 mph over and 4 points for 16 mph or more over the posted limit. If points are assigned for this out of state ticket, than it should be for the amount that matches with your over the limit citation in Canada.
