I have some endorsements listed on my policy and I would like to know where I can find out by number what these are for?

If you have questions regarding endorsements or any other parts of your insurance policy you can request information on this from your insurance company. Your insurance agent should be able to go over the different parts of your insurance policy with you and answer your questions about your specific terms and endorsements.

If your agent is unable to give you all the information you need, you may then want to contact your state's insurance regulatory body. This state agency is the one that can give you consumer help and refer you to insurance laws that might affect you.

Insurance companies must file their rates with the state's insurance regulator as well. The endorsement numbers listed on your policy could be state codes. If they are, the state's department of insurance should be able to decipher them for you.
