If my friend died in a car accident in my vehicle, will my full coverage still pay for damages and for death?

Without knowing the specifics of your policy we are unable to say if your "full coverage" auto insurance policy will cover the death of the passenger in your vehicle or the damages to the vehicle. To find out for certain what will be covered due to the accident you will need to contact an insurance agent of your insurance provider.

In general though, for the damages to your vehicle you can place a claim through your collision coverage and see if the incident is covered by the terms of your policy. The death of the friend and thus death benefits or funeral expenses may be able to be claimed depending on your coverages. If you have medical payments or personal injury protection (PIP) coverage, passengers in your vehicle medical and funeral expenses are normally covered.

If your friend was driving your vehicle and not a passenger you will still need to contact your insurance company to find out if the accident is covered and to what limits.
