If your husband is in the process of changing over his international or foreign license for a US license in Colorado then you may be able to get auto insurance for him to drive the car bought in your name. Many insurance companies, including the ones we work with, will allow someone with an international license to start a policy but will require the person to obtain a State license within 30 days for the insurance to stay in effect.

If your husband does not plan on acquiring a Colorado driver's license then it will likely be more difficult for him to find auto insurance for him to drive your vehicle.
