I was driving my friend's car and hit a motorcyclist. Neither of us were driving very fast and he only turned his bike on its side (which caused some minor damage to the motorcycle, but not the car). What will happen with the insurance? Will my insurance have to cover it or will my friend's insurance have to cover it?

In general auto insurance normally follows a vehicle first and driver second. This means that your friend's insurance on the vehicle would be primary. Your insurance usually won't cover this incident for Property Damage Liability, but it may cover you as secondary or excess if injuries to the other party went above your friend's limits (depending on the state).

If the damage was minor to the motorcycle and rider then your friend's car insurance liability limits would likely be enough to cover the damages done to the bike.
