My daughter is insured on my policy. Her fiance has been out of the country for 2 years, so has neither a car nor insurance at this point. My daughter wants us to let him use our 2nd car until he can buy his own. Will our insurance pay if he has an accident?

Insurance companies guidelines differ so to find out for certain if your insurance company will extend coverage to your daughter's fiancé while he borrows your car you will need to contact them directly. You may find out that he will be covered by your currently policy or that you will need to add him to cover him properly while he is operating your vehicle.

He may want to look into getting his own insurance on your vehicle if your insurance company will not cover him to drive it. There are some insurance providers, such as Esurance, which will allow in some situation a person to insure a vehicle though they do not own it and thus do not have insurable interest in it.
