I got my license suspended about ten years ago and was required to get an SR22. My insurance company still charges me for the SR22 every time I renew my auto policy. Will I always be required to pay this?

Normally is a limit on the amount of time one must hold a SR-22. Typically you are told by the DMV, or other state agency requiring you to carry this financial insurance certificate, how long you will need to have the SR-22. If you are unsure of how long you are required to keep this certificate of financial responsibility contact the state agency that first required it of you.

If your time limit for needing to carry the Sr-22 is up then you should inform your auto insurance provider so that this part of your coverage can be dropped and thus also the extra cost associated with it.
