Illinois and Pennsylvania are both members of the Drivers License Compact (DLC) so Illinois will be informed of the speeding ticket you received in Wayne County, Pennsylvania.
The drivers section of the IL Secretary of State site does not mention specifically that out of state tickets are put on your driving record. However the Illinois Administrative Code Motor Vehicle section 1040.20 gives information on the Illinois offense table. Here it notes that all out-of-state convictions are to be considered and to be coded exactly as Illinois Vehicle Code violations with the exception of the first digit which shall be an “8.”
From this Administrative Code information listed above we gather that out of state moving violations will be added to your Illinois driving record and assigned points. If the PA speeding violation is placed on your IL driver's history then your insurance company will be able to see it the next time they pull your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).At that point it will depend upon your insurance provider's rating system if your premiums will go up due to this ticket.
To find out about your insurance carrier's rating system ask your insurance agent or try contacting the IL Department of Insurance with whom insurance companies must file their rates with.
