State laws differ so you will need to check with your state's Department of Motor Vehicles to see if they permit you to drive out of state with your provisional license. Many states do allow you to drive out of state but to make certain that you are not breaking any of your provisional license's conditions contact your DMV.
If your state allows you to drive out of state then you will also need to check with the state or states in which you plan to drive. The other states' DMVs should be able to advise you if you can drive within their borders or not without a full license.
In some states there may be extra restrictions placed on your driving privileges, on top of your home state restrictions which even out of state you will need to follow.
