According to Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Services (HSMV), if you have a FL license and receive a traffic ticket out of state once they receive the citation information it will be added to your driving record. You will receive points on your license, if the violation is a point-accessible violation according to Florida statute 322.27.
Since West Virginia as well as Florida are both members of the Drivers License Compact, WV will inform the FL HSMV of your moving violation there. As stated above Florida will then put the offense on your driving record and assign points if they deem it necessary according to state statutes.
Florida law does not allow for any school or program to remove points for a ticket received in another state, so unfortunately you cannot take a traffic school or driving course in FL to get rid of the out of state ticket and associated points.
