Pennsylvania and New Jersey are both members of the Drivers License Compact (DLC) which means that Pennsylvania courts will notify the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) once you are convicted of this minor in possession violation.
According to the MVC a NJ licensed driver can still acquire points and penalties for violations committed in other states back at home in New Jersey. So it is likely that if your license is temporary suspended in Pennsylvania that New Jersey will also suspend your license. If they do not take away your driving privileges in NJ for this offense, you will need to check with the MVC to be certain, it is our understanding that you could not drive in PA during your suspension period but could elsewhere.
If New Jersey takes away your driving privileges for any period of time though your license would be suspended everywhere since NJ is the state that you are licensed through.
