North Carolina is a member of the Drivers License Compact (DLC) while Wisconsin is not however this state has decided to share ticket information with the home state of an out if state motorist who is cited in WI for a moving violation. Thus once you have been convicted of the speeding offense you were ticketed for in the Wisconsin courts, the information will be sent to the NC DOT.
Once the NC DOT turns this information over to the DMV it should be placed on your driving record according to the Driver Handbook which talks about out of state convictions and doesn't state the DLC so it would appear this is so for any state that shares violations of their motorist with the NC DMV.
We have read that points are only assigned for convictions occurring in state. Since laws can be changed or updated check with the NC DMV to find out for certain if points can or will be assigned for your Wisconsin speeding ticket.
