If your state has a points system in place where the Department of Motor Vehicles assigns points to various violations then they should have a points listing for you to view.
Points vary depending upon state laws and statutes so you would need to contact your specific state's DMV to find out where you may find the points chart or list. Many times the points associated with violations will be listed online at your DMV's website or printed in the state's Driver's Manual.
Non-moving violations, such as parking tickets, do not generally have points associated with them. A violation such as driving with a suspended license (with or without knowledge of the suspension) may have points assessed but it will depend upon your state's points system.
Some serious offenses, such as driving with a suspended or invalid license, may cause points to be placed on your license as well as a driver's responsibility surcharge (fine) to be accessed.
Find out about your state or province's points list from your Department of Motor Vehicles or Ministry of Transportation.
