How long does a traffic violation stay on your record in Colorado?

In Colorado driving records provided by the CO Division of Motor Vehicles reflect activity that has been retained for the last seven years.

Driving records are for seven years and cannot be limited to show any time period less than seven years. The CO DMV records are maintained in accordance with State and Federal law, which includes the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the requirements of the Federal Trade Commission.
