There are many online traffic schools available but not all may be approved by your state's Department of Motor Vehicles to remove points or to keep a ticket from being placed on your driving record.
Though many states allow motorist to take online courses to remove points or reduce/adjudicate tickets there are some states that still require the driver to attend a classroom type environment and does not allow web site traffic schools.
Georgia is one such state. The GA Department of Driver Services (DDS) does not allow driver to take traffic school classes over the Internet or on a computer. The DDS only allows classroom instruction for its approved driving school.
To find out what your state allow regarding driver's classes to removed points from your license or driving record contact the Department of Motor Vehicles. If they allow online courses to be taken then they should be able to provide you with a list of approved websites that offer the proper traffic school course.
Also remember after taking the course to show your completion certificate to the correct state office so that the points will be taken off of your record. This usually must be done within a certain amount of time.
