Who covers the shattered glass in your vehicle (the passenger glass in the rear of an extended cab Silverado)? It was sitting in my driveway at the time. I got into the vehicle and shut the door and the entire glass shattered. Is is my car insurance or my homeowners insurance? Thanks for your help.

Glass repair or replacement is normally covered under the comprehensive portion of the physical damage coverage on an auto insurance policy and not a claim on your homeowner's policy.

If you have comprehensive coverage on your Silverado pickup then call your insurance agent to place a claim for the broken passenger door's glass window.
