Teensurance™ powered by Safeco - available June 27 -is a comprehensive program for parents and their teen driver that gives parents peace of mind as well as ways to help their kids become safer drivers.

Teensurance™ combines a comprehensive 24/7 roadside assistance program and an online teen driving assessment with Safeco's exclusive Safety Beacon™ system. This integrated service includes a GPS-based vehicle monitoring device and online tools that help reinforce your teen's good driving habits. The program provides benefits for both sides of the dialogue. Parents and their teens can agree on the speed, distance, location and curfew limitations. Notification is transmitted in real time to parents' computers, home phones, cell phones or other mobile devices when limits are exceeded.

Safeco will offer subscribers access to Teensurance's online services and roadside assistance for a limited-time introductory price. This price is guaranteed for two years for Safeco customers and includes free installation of the Safety Beacon into the teen's car.
Only parents and their teens can access the driving information gathered through the Safety Beacon™. Individual driver information is not available to Safeco and will not be used to calculate individual rates.
