In most states, what is the maximum uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage available? (I am not referring to umbrella or excess liability insurance.)

The maximum amount of uninsured/underinsured (UM/UIM) coverage available varies by carrier and state. Typically, they are as high as the available Bodily Injury Liability Limits. Here are all the different UM limits that we currently offer on our site (again it varies from state to state):
