Other than just PL/PD, what is the least amount of coverage acceptable on a vehicle that is still considered full coverage?

PL/PD or PLPD as it is also known as is not full coverage. It is a term used to refer to the state minimum required auto insurance policies which is typically liability in the form of bodily injury and property damage.

What most people refer to as full coverage is at least the state's minimum required insurance coverage plus physical damage coverages of collision and comprehensive.

Liability policies only cover others that may sustain damages that you caused in an accident. Physical damage coverages of comprehensive and collision cover your own vehicle.

If you are required by someone to obtain full coverage on your vehicle, such as a lien holder, they will normally spell out in your lease or loan documents the exact minimum coverages you will need to place on a vehicle.
