I received two tickets in New Jersey (I also live in NJ). One was for rolling through a stop sign. The other was for going 58 in a 35. How many points are these violations?

According to the New Jersey point schedule exceeding the maximum speed limit by 13 mph is worth 2 points. Failure to observe a stop or yield sign is also 2 points.

So if you were cited for both of these moving violations can plead guilty you will be assessed a total of 4 points on your NJ driving record.

To find out more about the points schedule for New Jersey you can check with the Motor Vehicle Commission. As for the fines associated with the offenses you were ticketed for, speeding and not obeying a stop sign, you should contact the court listed on the ticket.
