Michigan is not a member of the Drivers License Compact (DLC) which requires member states to report moving violation convictions back to the licensing state of the convicted driver though Florida is a member to this. However even without being a member of the DLC Michigan still shares information with other states and receives in information on their drivers.
According to the Driver's License Division of the Michigan Department of State, it is likely that an out of state ticket will eventually appear on your MI driving record. If the traffic citation corresponds with a violation of Michigan law, then the conviction will be posted to your driving record and points will be assessed as required by the MI Vehicle Code.
So it would appear that if you plead guilty and pay the fine for the speeding citation in Florida and are thus convicted of the violation then Michigan will be informed and assign points as if it was a MI speeding ticket. You might want to find out from the Florida clerk of the court from county in which you were ticketed if you are eligible to take a driver improvement course or traffic school in order to keep from the speeding ticket becoming a conviction and being reported back to MI.
