My car was stolen today, the key was stuck in the ignition, but the car was locked. Am I covered ?

Typically, if you had comprehensive coverage your insurance company would cover this type of a claim.

Comprehensive coverage covers your vehicle for losses due to non-collision incidents such as flood, fire, animals or if it's stolen. There is usually a deductible that applies to claims made against your comprehensive coverage. So if you had comprehensive coverage, your insurance company should be able to cover the claim for the stolen vehicle even if you left the key in the ignition with the doors locked.

Please keep us updated in the comments section of the status of your claim. This helpful to future visitors to our site.
