Arizona and Louisiana are both members of the Drivers License Compact. This Compact requires member state to report back to the state in which a driver is licensed any conviction of traffic tickets. So the AZ Department of Transportation should be notified by the LA DMV about this speeding ticket you received.
Chapter 6, Article 3 of Title 28 within the Transportation section of Arizona statutes, gives details on the DLC and Arizona's participation. It does not note however if points for out of state offenses will be assigned points or if the offense will be recorded onto your driving record.
We contacted the AZ DOT Motor Vehicle Division to get more information on this topic. The representative we spoke to said that they indeed would be informed of this out of state ticket and it would then go on your Arizona driving record. The AZ DMV representative also stated that points would be assessed.
