Can a minor pursue a bodily injury claim in Colorado if the at fault party is our insured, is related to the insured, and lives in the household?

Auto insurance policies differ as do the situations in which one can make a claim against the bodily injury portion of a policy. We contacted the Colorado Division of Insurance (DOI) for response regarding your bodily injury question and if a minor could claim against their own household's policy. The DOI stated that you will need to contact the Division of Insurance for assistance so that they can get more details on the situation and give you the best, accurate advice.
