Federal laws effective as of September 20, 2005 make it so commercial drivers (CDL holders) are no longer able to remove or mask a traffic ticket by taking a driving course. This is a directive from the Federal government that states that CDL holders became ineligible to attend traffic violator school for the purpose of removing a traffic violation on his or her driving record, regardless of the type of vehicle driven.
The traffic school you mentioned does not appear to be a "citation masking" course (one which dismisses or reduces the violation you were cited for) that the federal government, and thus also state governments, do not allow. However we are not aware of any classes a CDL holder can take to reduce their points total.
Before paying out the money and spending your time attending such a driver improvement class contact your state's Department of Motor Vehicles to see if what this Internet class is stating is really genuine with regards to your CDL driving record and points total. Your local DMV should be able to tell you if as a CDL holder if there is any legitimate way to reduce your points total.
