What is the expansion of V1STA?

To the best of our knowledge the V1STA you are referring to is the V1STA DecisionMaker, is a Web-based insurance management system. It is a system created by Decision Research Corporation (DRC) and built on Microsoft .NET technology.

V1STA offers insurance carriers a solution for easily managing the entire policy life cycle, from quoting and issuance to claims and billing. V1STA does so by using components such as Microsoft SQL Server(TM), Internet Information Services (IIS) and Microsoft Office Excel(R). According to its creators the V1STA product modules provide a user-friendly environment and are fully scalable to support businesses from startups to Fortune 500 companies.

One of our partners, Arrowhead, uses this technology.

DRC is a rating and policy processing system software solution provider to the Property and Casualty insurance industry. Products include RateMaker, a platform independent rating engine, and V1STA DecisionMaker, a fully integrated quote-to-claim policy processing system.

DRC's RateMaker Analysis is offered as an optional add-on tool for Decision Research’s V1STA for RateMaker solution or as a standalone utility. The RateMaker Analysis tool enables insurers and MGAs to fully analyze their current books of business and perform ‘what if’ tests of rate changes to determine the potential impact on their business.

If you want information on the expansion of the V1STA product line or information any of the Decision Research Corporation's software that the insurance industry is using you can contact the company directly.
