From what we have read from those that have received their G1 in the mail after passing the test it appears to take between 2 and 4 weeks to show up. We have heard of it even taking longer, up to 6 weeks, but if you do not receive it within 4 weeks you should call to see if there has been a delay, it got lost in the mail, etc.

Though we have read that it takes two to four weeks for G1 license holders to receive the actual license in the mail, you can contact the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) for Ontario, Canada to see if they have a more precise time period that the G1 license is supposed to be mailed out and received by the new driver.
