If I own more then one vehicle which all are insured for comprehensive subject to a deductible, and a severe hail storm damages them when they are parked in my drive way, does a deductible apply on both cars (pay 2 deductibles) or since this is one occurrence, does one deductible apply to both damaged cars?

Even though it was one event, a severe hail storm, which damaged both vehicles there would be a deductible due on each vehicle.Because two vehicles were damaged you would make a Comprehensive claim for each car's hail damage under their own coverages and pay out a deductible for each vehicle.

You would need to make 2 claims, one for each vehicle, under their own Comprehensive coverage, and thus pay out a deductible for each vehicle for it to be repaired from the hail damage it sustained.

The terms of your policy should give you more information on your situation and how to make the claims.Your agent and also insurance company's claim department could tell you more as well since they know the specific terms of your policy.
