Do you guys do classic car insurance for 1979 cars?

The ability to insure a vehicle of your age through our online quoting system will depend on the state in which you reside and the various insurance companies that we work with in that state. Different insurance companies have different guidelines regarding how old of a vehicle they will insure.

The lowest year which our vehicle lists goes back to is 1969, though in some states the insurance companies we are affiliated do not go back that far. If your vehicle is older than the earliest year they insure in that state, the vehicle page should say "Car not listed?" in which case you it would mean that our partners in that state do not go back to 1979. If your vehicle is not included in our lists, please contact us at 1-800-964-4859. Alternatively, you can follow this link to get an online quote using our antique vehicle quoting form.

Also our partner Safeco offers classic car insurance for vehicles from 1979 or even earlier. You can start now to get a classic car insurance quote with them by following this link or calling them at 1-800-936-0356. They should be able to provide you with the type of auto insurance that your classic 1979 vehicle needs.
