Can FR-44 insurance be paid in installments?

There are insurance providers who will allow installments to be paid on policies with the FR-44 filing depending on the insurance company's guidelines. Many insurance companies will require that the policy be paid in full. The companies that will offer installments do have criteria that must be met in order for the policy to be written. The FR 44 is a requirement to carry higher limits of liability coverage that must be registered with the state of filing for a set period of time, usually three (3) or four (4) years depending on the state. The states that currently require the Fr-44 filing are Florida and Virginia. CarInsurance.com provides quotes for this coverage with Safeco Insurance and Direct General Insurance Company in both states, the quote will show the installment amount if you qualify for a policy with them.
