Q

Where can I find my SR 22 case number?

A

The only person or place you can get your case number is from the judge or Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) that is requiring you to obtain and carry the SR-22.

Typically, the case number is found on an motor vehicle record (MVR) next to the conviction that is causing the requirement for financial responsibility (SR-22).

You can contact your DMV for a copy of your MVR if they are the ones requiring you maintain financial responsibility with a SR-22 filed by your auto insurance agent. If it is the court that mandated the SR-22 than check with the paperwork from the court.

We offer an SR-22 through Direct General Insurance Company, Esurance, Safeco Insurance, and/or Unitrin Direct.Click her to get started on a car insurance quote for your needs.
