Your home state of Michigan is not a member of the Driver's License Compact (DLC) however the Michigan Secretary of State (SOS) site has information showing that out of state tickets may still be added to your MI driving record.
The MI SOS site notes that an out of state violation substantially corresponds to a violation of a Michigan law, then the conviction will be posted to your driving record and points will be assessed as required by the Michigan Vehicle Code. If the ticket is for an offense for which a suspension would have been given if the ticket had been received in Michigan, then a suspension will be imposed after the posting of the ticket, allowing time for due process and the sending of a notification letter.
So if you are convicted of the speeding offense in Florida then the FL courts should notify the Michigan SOS and they will place the speeding violation on your MI driving record and assign it points. Your Michigan insurance company could then see the traffic offense next time they pull your motor vehicle record (MVR) and may rate you on this out of state speeding violation.
