QuestionInsurance Question  What happens if I wreck someone else's vehicle and they have no insurance, but I do?

AnswerAuto Insurance Answer

Typically, physical damage follows the vehicle and bodily injury liability follows the person.

So, if the vehicle has no physical damage (comprehensive and collision) then the vehicle you wreck (someone else's vehicle) would not have coverage. Unless, the accident wasn't your fault and the at-fault party (person or property that hits you) has property damage liability.
