Your official Indiana driving record includes information on:
- Tickets issued both in Indiana and other states that are part of their reporting network.
- Tickets and/or accidents for which the motorist failed to provide proof of financial responsibility.
- Serious offenses such as driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs (DUI) or being a habitual traffic violator (HTV).
It appears that according to Indiana's Bureau of Motor Vehicles that while points for traffic violations will only remain active on your motor vehicle record (MVR) for 2 years, that traffic offenses and serious vehicular offenses, such as a DUI, continually remain on your record. You can check with the IN BMV to verify this information.
