No, not if you use our GAP Affiliate. There are a couple of ways in which to obtain GAP insurance on our website.

One of our partners, Safeco, sells Auto Loan/Lease Coverage for some customers, with their auto policy. This type of GAP coverage, would need to be purchased with Safeco after the fact because it is not currently displayed on our policy purchase page with them.

Another way in which to obtain GAP insurance is through the GAP insurance provider listed on our Insurance Products page. With this insurance carrier it is not required that you have auto insurance with us in order to purchase GAP insurance for your motor vehicle.
