According to the Rhode Island Division of Motor Vehicles, driving records are processed through the Operator Control division of the DMV.
They go on to note that a driving record includes any special license classifications (CDL), restrictions, and a list of any tickets, accidents and/or suspensions you may have incurred in the last 3 years.
The RI DMV does not mention if the violations and accidents are removed after a 3 year period or not so contact them directly to find out. You can contact them through their Division of Motor Vehicles website or call the Operator Control section at (401) 721-2650.
