In Michigan, most traffic violation convictions stay on your driving record for at least seven years however certain convictions and licensing actions stay on your driving record for at least 10 years. In South Carolina a moving violation remains on your driving record for 3 years from the date that the ticket was issued but since a DUI is more severe of an issue it stays on longer. A first offense for a DUI in SC remains on your driving record for 10 years.
